This is not a giveaway. You pay rent for 24 months plus the amounts below. We list them here so there are no surprises later.
Taxes and government fees are separate and are your responsibility. At transfer you pay applicable sales and use taxes, title and title-transfer fees, registration and plate fees, and any other DMV or government charges. These are in addition to the $750 final amount. The vehicle transfers as-is, in its condition at that time, with no additional warranty except where the law requires one.
Once you sign, the terms you signed are the terms you keep.
Once you sign the Program Agreement, your core ownership terms are locked for the full 24 months as long as you stay compliant.
If a company-responsibility mechanical failure puts you in a replacement vehicle, your accumulated program history carries over and the program continues.
Policy changes affecting future program terms apply to new enrollments, not to your existing agreement.
If a vehicle is totaled: Rideshare Car Rentals remains the owner and titleholder during the program and retains any insurance proceeds. You have no ownership interest in the vehicle or any settlement before the program is complete and title has transferred, and you remain responsible for any applicable deductible. A total loss may end the ownership opportunity for that particular vehicle.
Full terms are set out in the Two-Year Vehicle Ownership Program Agreement, which you'll review and sign before enrolling. The program is separate from the $9.99 Rewards Membership — membership is not required and does not affect ownership eligibility.
